The Answer: I’m fluent in some languages, almost all my friends aren’t from Brazil, and for some awkward reasons my english is terrible when writing. That’s strange because I can talk/write in icelandic and estonian at same time without problems or mistakes.

Take the test, try to say kuulilennuteetunneliluuk. In english this means “the trap door at the end of the tunnel where the bullet is flying”. In portuguese, “A porta armadilha no final do túnel onde a bala está voando”. Now notice how thigs change across foreign languages. Here lives my problem, everytime I got confused because language rules, and this only happens with english when I’m writing some stuff that nobody cares about.

I started with this thing like 6 years ago, only with the forums and some old deleted blog. Today, we have thousands of members in the forums from every place of the world. Take a look at the last week of July-2010 forums stats. The forums are like the Babel Tower, if you only knows greek, post in greek and watch people answering in their native languages. (For God’s sake, of curse we have a translator, just select the text and see in your OS language).
Now, a fact. Take a look at the stats, United States is ranked number 2. USA posts: 29% english. Brazil first? 31% portuguese. I can’t understand why too, but who cares? People are interacting with the entire world and learning for free, we even have people teaching stuff with videos!

Initially, I re-installed wordpress just to explain/guide/help friends with common stuff (like, if I explain to this one, two more will ask later) making posts, so if one more ask samething, I just send a link. Portuguese only, without this shameless english. Weeks later, I was banned from the old host, this made me rage so much that I moved the forums to this domain, and people discovered this blog. Guess what? Questions on forums. Let’s do samething again, this time in english to infinity and beyond.

People asked me, why don’t answer and pin threads? Simple, I was using 000webhost and 6 times per hour, the forums went down with the infamous “Cant connect to Mysql” for everyone. Definitely, loading wordpress consume less resources than vbulletin. The multi-language blog was born.

I will not cover my job here, but it’s the second reason I started to learn other languages. The first, is in the first line.

*I never took classes of any language, only english when I was studying (3 years, 3 classes per week). My teacher was a ugly stupid fat bitch and everytime she was teaching english wrong. We discovered this when she got fired (she was unlicensed!). My entire school forced-learned the wrong way, and almost everyone has problems with english until today. When you learn the things wrong, forced (do this or do this. If you don’t do this, you will do this 9 times in a row) and for three years, it’s a pain to fix your brain. I managed to learn it “right” for business reasons. But writing, I still pathetic.

**Search engines don’t know about our forums. We removed crawler’s access, turned the forums Invite-Only and banned a shitload of people because we found retards selling the free content we have (Like the host bridge and some parts of the Divine Game. We stopped with divine because this.). And for info, every app posted in this blog have the source code open to members. And maybe, the download will be members-only too. The internet  was made to be free, but sell free stuff is stupid. Administrators/Mods CAN’T send invites. Stop asking, get one from some member, everyone has unlimited invites. We track who-invite-who, so if you invite your sister, your sister invite her boyfriend and her boyfriend start to sell free content, everyone inside your network will be banned.
